Add your products in Square — names, prices, photos, and categories. Whatever you put in your Square catalog is exactly what shows up on your website, and it stays in sync automatically as you make changes. Our short walkthrough shows you how to set everything up cleanly the first time.

Connect your Square account

When you're ready, connect Square to your site using the secure authorization link in your setup interview — or in the email we send you. It takes one click. We read your catalog, build the shop on your site, and your products go live. From then on, every order and payment runs through Square, just like your in-person sales.

Permissions & Privacy

We only ask for what we need

When you connect Square, you'll see exactly what you're authorizing on Square's permission screen. Here's what we request and why:

  • View your item library — so we can display your products on your site
  • View your merchant profile — to identify your account
  • View and create orders — to generate an order when a customer checks out
  • Take payments and make refunds — required by Square to create the checkout link that routes your customers to Square's payment page. Your customers pay Square directly. We don't process transactions or store card data — this permission just lets us hand the customer off to Square's checkout.

We do not have access to your bank account or payment card numbers. Square handles all card data directly — we never see or store it.

You can revoke access from your Square Dashboard at any time — just know that disconnecting will take your website's shop offline until you reconnect. Your products and data always stay in Square.
