Privacy Policy

How Lucitech collects, uses, and protects your information.

Lucitech LLC
Effective Date: May 26, 2026  |  Last Updated: May 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Lucitech LLC ("Lucitech," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you visit our website at lucitech.net, purchase our services, or otherwise interact with us.

By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to lucitech.net
  • Customers who purchase Lucitech services
  • Leads who inquire about our services without purchasing

This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites we host on behalf of our customers. Each customer site is independently operated by its owner, who is responsible for the privacy practices of that site and for providing their own privacy policy to their site's visitors. If you visit a website hosted by Lucitech, the privacy policy of that site's owner governs the collection and use of your information by that site, not this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide for Site Creation

To design and build your website, we collect extensive information about your business, including but not limited to:

  • Business name, description, services, products, and pricing
  • Contact name, phone number, and business address
  • Business hours, location(s), and service area
  • Photos, logos, branding, marketing copy, and any other content you provide
  • Social media handles, links, and related online presence
  • Any other information you submit for inclusion on or in connection with your website

Information you provide for site creation purposes should be considered intended for publication. Because this information is being used to build a public-facing website, it is not treated as confidential or private. Do not submit information you do not wish to be displayed publicly or used in the design and operation of your site.

The only exception is payment information (see Section 2.2), which is treated as confidential and used only for billing.

2.2 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe. Lucitech does not store, process, or have direct access to your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account credentials. Stripe collects this information on our behalf and is the data controller for payment data. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information and supersedes this Privacy Policy with respect to payment data.

We retain limited billing information returned by Stripe (such as last-four card digits, billing zip code, and transaction history) for our accounting and tax records.

2.3 Communications with Our Agent Service

When you communicate with Lucitech to request updates, changes, or support — including via iMessage, text message, or our Agent Service ("Kai") — we collect and retain the content of those communications, including:

  • Message text and attachments
  • Phone number or contact identifier used
  • Timestamps and metadata

We retain these communications for a minimum of six (6) months and may retain them indefinitely. Communications will not be published or shared with third parties outside the scope described in Section 4. Communications associated with your account may be made available to other members of your business who are granted access to your account. You are responsible for controlling who within your business is granted account access.

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit lucitech.net, we automatically collect technical information, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system and device information
  • Referring website
  • Pages visited, time spent, and navigation patterns
  • Date and time of access

2.5 Analytics and Tracking

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with lucitech.net. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of our site. Google's use of this information is governed by Google's privacy policy. We may add additional analytics or tracking services from time to time without prior notice.

2.6 Cookies

Lucitech uses cookies and similar technologies to operate lucitech.net and improve user experience. We may use first-party and third-party cookies. By using our site, you consent to our use of cookies. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect site functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain your website
  • Process payments and manage billing
  • Communicate with you about your account, services, and support requests
  • Respond to inquiries from leads and prospective customers
  • Send service announcements, updates, and marketing communications (see Section 6)
  • Operate, secure, and improve our platform and lucitech.net
  • Comply with legal obligations, including tax, financial, and regulatory requirements
  • Protect our rights, property, and the integrity of our infrastructure

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell your information to any third party.

4.1 Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate our business. These currently include, without limitation:

  • Google Cloud Platform — hosting infrastructure
  • Cloudflare — DNS, content delivery, and security (where applicable)
  • Amazon Web Services (SES) — email delivery
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • BlueBubbles and Apple iMessage — client communication relay
  • AI providers, currently including Anthropic and Google (Gemini), used to power our Agent Service and internal tools

We may add, change, or replace service providers at our discretion.

4.2 AI Processing

Our Agent Service and certain internal tools rely on third-party large language model providers, currently Anthropic and Google (Gemini). When you communicate with our Agent Service or when we process your site content using AI tools, the content of those communications and materials may be transmitted to these providers for processing. We may employ additional or alternative AI providers without prior notice, provided we have determined them suitable for our use. By using our services, you consent to this processing.

4.3 Account-Level Access

As described in Section 2.3, communications associated with your account may be accessible to other members of your business who are granted account access. We do not control who you designate within your organization.

4.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing, protect the personal safety of users or the public, or respond to government or regulatory requests.

4.5 Business Transfers

If Lucitech is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy where required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide our services and to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Specific retention practices include:

  • Active customer data: retained for the duration of your services with Lucitech
  • Site content and design materials: retained while your services are active; deleted within thirty (30) days after termination unless you have requested earlier deletion or downloaded your client-owned content
  • Agent Service communications: minimum six (6) months; may be retained indefinitely
  • Billing and tax records: retained for at least seven (7) years following the last transaction, as required by federal and state tax law
  • Marketing and lead data: retained until you opt out or request deletion

After termination of services, we will continue to retain any data we are required to keep for legal, tax, financial, regulatory, or compliance purposes, including FTC, IRS, and Florida state requirements.

6. Marketing Communications

6.1 Customers

We may send you service announcements, account notifications, product updates, and marketing communications. Service and account notifications are necessary for operation of your services and may not be optional. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing communication or by contacting us.

6.2 Leads

We may send marketing communications to individuals who have inquired about our services. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing communication or by contacting us.

6.3 Two-Tier Opt-Out

You may opt out of marketing communications, informational/non-essential communications, or both. Opting out of marketing communications does not unsubscribe you from required service-related communications while you remain a customer.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Access and Correction

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or request that we correct inaccurate information, by contacting us.

7.2 Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal information. We will delete all data we are not required to retain for legal compliance purposes, including tax, financial, FTC, or other regulatory requirements. Information retained for legal compliance will be deleted when its retention period expires.

7.3 Opt-Out

You may opt out of marketing communications as described in Section 6.

7.4 How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. This includes:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
  • Access controls on internal systems
  • Use of reputable third-party service providers with their own security programs (Stripe, Google Cloud, Cloudflare, AWS)

No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information, and you transmit information to us at your own risk.

9. Children's Privacy

Lucitech's services are intended for businesses and individuals legally capable of owning and operating a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, and our services are not directed to minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Geographic Scope

Lucitech currently provides services to customers located in the United States. We do not currently market our services to or solicit customers outside the United States. We may expand our geographic scope in the future, at which time additional privacy disclosures may be added to this policy.

If you access our services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Third-Party Links and Hosted Sites

Lucitech.net and our customer-hosted sites may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site or service you visit.

As noted in Section 1, websites we host on behalf of customers are not covered by this Privacy Policy. Each customer is responsible for their own privacy practices and disclosures.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers or by posting on lucitech.net, at our discretion.

Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
